The KENNAMETAL 7093817 is a DCMT-style diamond-shaped carbide turning insert designed for precision external and internal turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating applied over a KCU10B carbide substrate, providing enhanced heat resistance and extended tool life in interrupted cuts and general-purpose turning. The insert has a 55-degree included angle, a 7-degree relief angle, and a 0.0157-inch (0.40 mm) corner radius with the LF chip breaker geometry. Two cutting edges are available per insert. Installation is performed by qualified machinists and CNC operators.
