The KENNAMETAL 7093504 is an SNMG-style indexable turning insert designed for metal cutting operations on CNC and manual lathes. It features a square insert shape with a 90-degree included angle, a 0.80mm (0.0313 inch) corner radius, and a neutral hand orientation. The substrate is solid carbide with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating applied under the KCU10B manufacturer grade. AlTiN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. With 8 usable cutting edges per insert, this grade is suited for productive turning of steel and other ferrous materials where a balance of toughness and wear resistance is required.

This insert is used in external and internal turning applications across general-purpose machining environments.
