The KENNAMETAL 7093382 is a TPGT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision external and internal turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It features a triangular insert shape with a neutral hand orientation, a 0.008 inch (0.20 mm) corner radius, and an 11-degree relief angle for reduced cutting forces and improved surface finish on non-ferrous and light alloy workpieces. The insert is manufactured in grade KCU10B with an AlTiN coating for elevated heat resistance and extended tool life at higher cutting speeds. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this insert.

This insert is suited for finishing and light semi-finishing passes in turning centers and engine lathes where tight tolerances and fine surface finishes are required. Installation Notes
