The KENNAMETAL 7093270 is a VNGG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for finishing operations on CNC and manual turning centers. It carries grade KCU10B with an AlTiN coating, delivering high wear resistance across steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The insert follows ANSI code VNGG3302 and ISO code VNGG160401. The V-diamond (rhombic) 35-degree included angle geometry provides a tight nose radius of 0.0040 inches, making it well suited for light finishing passes where surface finish and dimensional accuracy are the priority. The neutral hand orientation allows use in both left- and right-hand toolholders. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert on production and job-shop turning equipment.

This insert is used in finishing applications on steel (P), stainless steel (M), cast iron (K), aluminum, and non-ferrous (N) workpiece materials, as well as heat-resistant superalloys (S).
