The insert features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating applied over a KCU10B carbide grade substrate, providing thermal resistance and wear protection during high-speed cutting. The triangular insert geometry offers three usable cutting edges, extending tool life between index cycles. With an 11-degree relief angle and a 0.0313 inch (1/32 inch) corner radius, this insert is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where tight tolerances and consistent surface finish are required.
