The KENNAMETAL 6929439 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling across a wide range of demanding workpiece materials. Built on the H1TE series platform, it features a 6 mm cutting diameter, a 0.5 mm corner radius, and a 13 mm length of cut. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making this tool effective at elevated cutting temperatures common in hard material and superalloy machining. Four right-hand helical flutes at a 36-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a smooth surface finish. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole.
This end mill is suited for both roughing and finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The extended reach design, with a 31.98 mm reach length and a reduced 5.64 mm neck diameter, allows access to deeper features and pockets without sacrificing rigidity at the shank. It is intended for use in CNC machining centers and mill-turn platforms where tight tolerances and consistent tool life are required. Compatible with ER single angle standard collets for toolholding.
Designed for use with ER single angle standard collets. Rated for primary workpiece materials including steel (P), stainless steel (M), cast iron (K), superalloys and titanium (S), and hard materials (H) per ISO material classification. Part of the KENNAMETAL H1TE series; catalog reference H1TE4RA0600E013HAR050M.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended engagement depth before tightening to avoid runout. Verify spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut against the applicable KENNAMETAL H1TE series cutting data before first use. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use and replace the tool at the first sign of chipping or excessive flank wear.
