The KENNAMETAL 6767962 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built to the H1TE series specification and coated with AlTiN via PVD process, this tool delivers thermal and oxidation resistance suited for dry or near-dry cutting conditions. It measures 3.5 mm in diameter with a 10 mm length of cut, a 57 mm overall length, and a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank. The 4-flute, variable-helix, variable-index geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes while reducing chatter and harmonics during aggressive cuts.
This end mill is engineered for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is suited for side milling, shoulder milling with eased chamfer, helical milling, plunge milling, pocketing, slotting, ramping, and trochoidal milling. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry. Extended reach geometry with a 16.5 mm reach length and a 3.29 mm neck diameter gives clearance in deep pocket and shoulder milling scenarios. It is a single-end tool with a regular-length classification.
Designed for machining steel (ISO P), stainless steel (ISO M), cast iron (ISO K), superalloys and titanium (ISO S), and hard materials (ISO H). Compatible with standard CNC machining centers and milling machines accepting a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Catalog reference H1TE4CH0350N010HAM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lock-out condition before changing tooling. Seat the 6 mm shank fully into a precision collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as excessive runout will accelerate edge wear on small-diameter carbide tools.
