The KENNAMETAL 6755035 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Part of the KOR5 series, it features a 0.7874 inch (20 mm) cutting diameter matched to a 0.7874 inch (20 mm) shank diameter, providing a rigid, vibration-resistant setup. Five spiral flutes with a 35-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. A chipbreaker geometry further reduces cutting forces and helps manage chip loads in long-reach passes. This single-end tool is right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction, bright/uncoated finish, and is centercutting, allowing plunge entry. It is installed by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in production and job-shop environments.
The 6755035 is designed for milling aluminum, aluminum alloys, and other non-ferrous metals, corresponding to workpiece material code N. With a 60 mm (approximately 2.362 inches) length of cut and a 120 mm (approximately 4.724 inches) overall length, it handles moderate-depth pocketing, slotting, contouring, and profiling operations on vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The KOR5 series is purpose-built for non-ferrous applications where tool life and chip management are critical priorities in high-spindle-speed setups.
Designed as an OEM-style tooling solution within the KENNAMETAL KOR5 series for milling aluminum and non-ferrous workpieces. Fits standard 20 mm collet chucks, hydraulic toolholders, and shrink-fit holders compatible with a 0.7874 inch shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated per shop safety procedures. Ensure the toolholder bore and shank are clean and free of chips or coolant residue before seating. Runout should be verified with a dial indicator after mounting, as excessive runout accelerates flute wear and degrades surface finish. Consult the machine tool manufacturer and KENNAMETAL cutting data recommendations for appropriate spindle speeds, feed rates, and depth-of-cut parameters before operation.
