The KENNAMETAL 6676988 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision edge preparation and multi-operation milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built to the H1TE series specification, it features a 0.125 inch mill diameter, a 0.5 inch length of cut, and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0150 inch chamfer width. The variable helix geometry, ranging from 36 to 39 degrees, reduces harmonic vibration and improves surface finish across varied cutting conditions. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and hard materials. This tool is centercutting and right-hand fluted, supporting a broad range of milling strategies. Installation and use require a qualified machinist or CNC operator.
