Manufactured to ANSI and ISO standards under catalog number LNGQ120604ERGEKT4, this insert features a TiAlN and AlCrN PVD coating applied via physical vapor deposition for improved wear resistance and heat stability. The rectangular insert profile measures 0.5316 inches wide and 0.25 inches thick, with a 1/64-inch corner radius and four usable cutting edges on a single-sided, right-hand configuration. A positive rake geometry and honed cutting edge style reduce cutting forces on the workpiece. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers of this insert.

Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Before changing inserts, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out per your facility lockout/tagout procedure. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or debris before seating a new insert, as contamination can cause premature edge failure or dimensional deviation.
