The KENNAMETAL 6388833 is a solid carbide replaceable tip drill insert with ISO designation KTFSS06250HPG, designed for use in compatible KTFS-series replaceable tip drill bodies. It features a 5/8 inch (0.6250 inch) cutting diameter with an HPG insert geometry and a PVD-applied AlTiN coating that provides heat and wear resistance during steel and cast iron drilling operations. The insert clamps into a size T seat and is manufactured from fine-grain solid carbide in the KCP15A grade. Cutting edge geometry includes 2 flutes with a regular helical spiral and a standard point type. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments are the primary installers of this consumable.

This insert is suited for drilling operations in ferrous materials classified under ISO material codes P (steel) and K (cast iron).
