The KENNAMETAL 6113136 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance finishing operations in demanding materials. Built on the UJDE series platform, it features a 0.5-inch mill diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and six flutes designed to deliver superior surface finish and extended tool life. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness, making this tool well suited to dry or semi-dry cutting at elevated speeds. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environments will find it sized and coated for tough finishing passes.
This end mill is intended for finishing applications in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The extra-long 2.5-inch length of cut and 4.5-inch overall length allow access to deep pockets and tall part features without tool interference. It is single-end, center-cutting, and runs right-hand flute direction with right-hand cutting direction. The close pitch and high helix geometry support chip evacuation in gummy or work-hardening alloys. It fits standard end mill toolholders with a 0.5-inch straight cylindrical shank.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders accepting a 0.5-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials as designated by material codes P, M, S, and H.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom personnel with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped. Seat the shank fully in a properly sized collet or shrink-fit holder and torque the retention screw to the toolholder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before the first cut. Reference the machine and toolholder manufacturer documentation for clamping torque values and stick-out limits appropriate to this diameter and length combination.
