The KENNAMETAL 5990937 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter F (0.2570 inches) with a 135-degree split-point geometry. It is designed for precision hole-making in aluminum and non-ferrous materials at production volumes. The 135-degree point reduces walking at entry and minimizes burring at exit. Built from solid carbide in a bright/uncoated finish, this drill delivers the rigidity and wear resistance that machinists and tool-room technicians require when drilling non-ferrous alloys. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed, deep-hole applications where chip evacuation and heat management are critical.
This drill is suited to CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machine-shop setups where Letter F diameter holes are required in aluminum, copper, brass, and similar non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 3-flat shank (8 mm shank diameter) prevents rotation in the chuck and is compatible with standard collet and keyless chuck systems.
