The KENNAMETAL 5591783 is a solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal removal on lathes and turning centers. It carries the ANSI designation CCMT3252MP and ISO designation CCMT09T308MP, with the KCM25B grade featuring a multilayer MTCVD coating system of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiOCN. This coating stack delivers high toughness on steel and moderate wear-resistance and toughness on stainless steel. The insert measures 9.67 mm (0.3808 inches) in length with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius.
