The KENNAMETAL 4151196 is a stub-length (screw machine length) solid carbide drill bit designed for high-precision hole-making in metalworking and machining applications. Built to DIN 6537K standards, it features a 3/8 inch (0.3750 inch) cutting diameter with a 140-degree split point for accurate self-centering on entry. The multilayer TiAlN coating at the tip extends tool life under high heat and abrasion. At 3.5039 inches overall length with a 1.8504-inch flute length, the compact stub geometry delivers improved rigidity and reduced deflection compared to jobber-length drills. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

This drill bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machine tools where short, rigid cutting tools are required.
