The KENNAMETAL 4151119 is a screw machine length (stub) drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding production environments. Built from solid carbide and coated with TiAlN at the tip, it delivers extended tool life and heat resistance in hard and abrasive materials. The bit features a 140-degree point angle for self-centering entry and reduced thrust force, a tapered web configuration for chip evacuation, and a right-hand spiral flute. Overall length is 2.5984 inches with a flute length of 0.9449 inches, sized at wire gauge number 20 (0.1610 inch diameter). Qualified machinists and tool-and-die technicians install this bit in CNC machining centers and screw machines.
This drill bit is suited for high-production screw machine operations, CNC drilling, and precision hole-making in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where tight tolerances and consistent hole quality are required. The 6.00 mm straight cylindrical shank fits standard collets and drill chucks. The coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling applications where internal coolant delivery reduces heat buildup and extends cutting life. It conforms to DIN 6537K specification and belongs to Kennametal Series B051A-CPG.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, screw machines, and drill presses equipped with standard collets or drill chucks accepting a 0.2362 inch (6.00 mm) straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for applications within the 0.1500 to 0.2000 inch drill bit diameter range per Series B051A-CPG.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly clamped in the collet or chuck to the tool holding system manufacturer specifications. When using coolant-through capability, verify coolant supply lines are connected and pressurized before starting the cut.
