The KENNAMETAL 4150244 is a screw machine length (stub) drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide with a multilayer TiAlN coating, this bit delivers superior wear resistance and heat dissipation compared to HSS alternatives. The 140-degree split point reduces thrust and walking at entry, making it well-suited for CNC machining centers and drill presses running at elevated speeds and feeds. At 7.30 mm in diameter with an overall length of 79.00 mm, the compact stub-length geometry provides added rigidity and improved hole accuracy in short-reach drilling operations. Licensed machinists and tooling specialists are the primary installers and users.

This drill bit is designed for stub-length drilling applications where rigidity and concentricity are critical. It suits production environments drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials.
