The KENNAMETAL 4149194 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance hole-making in demanding production environments. Wire size 21 (0.1590 inches), it features a 140-degree point angle for aggressive penetration with reduced thrust, a multilayer TiAlN coating for heat resistance and extended tool life, and a two-flute regular spiral geometry. Overall length is 2.9134 inches (74.00 mm) with a flute length of 1.4173 inches (36.00 mm). The straight cylindrical shank measures 0.6250 inches in diameter. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling in materials where heat buildup is a concern. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers.
This drill is rated for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials, making it well-suited for job shop and production floor applications. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and tapered web configuration support chip evacuation in deeper holes up to a maximum drilling depth of 1.1417 inches (29.00 mm).
