The KENNAMETAL 4149187 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to wire gauge number 27 (0.1440 inches decimal equivalent). It features a 140-degree point angle ground to a standard point type, making it well suited for entry through harder materials without excessive thrust. A multilayer TiAlN coating reduces heat buildup at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding applications. The two-flute regular spiral design promotes chip evacuation, and the through-coolant capability allows direct delivery of cutting fluid to the tip. Overall length is 2.5984 inches (66.00 mm) with a flute length of 1.1024 inches (28.00 mm).
This drill bit is designed for precision hole-making in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials.
