The KENNAMETAL 4149126 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit in wire gauge size 31 (0.1200 inches), designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metalworking applications. The 140-degree split point geometry promotes accurate self-centering and reduces thrust force at entry. A multilayer TiAlN coating improves heat and wear resistance, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 2.5984 inches overall length with a 1.1024-inch flute length, this drill suits compact setups and CNC machining centers. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed operation in difficult materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this drill.
The 4149126 is intended for drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. Conforming to DIN 6537K, it fits applications where tight tolerances and repeatable hole quality are required. The straight cylindrical shank at 0.6250 inches (6 mm nominal) accepts standard drill chucks and collet holders. With a flute-by-diameter ratio of 5xD and a maximum drilling depth of 0.9055 inches (23.00 mm), it is well-suited to short-hole drilling cycles in production environments and job shop settings alike.
