The KENNAMETAL 4148844 is a screw machine length (stub) drill bit designed for high-precision drilling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from solid carbide with a multilayer TiAlN coating, it delivers hardness and heat resistance suited to demanding production environments. The bit measures 2.2835 inches overall length with a 2.40 mm (0.0945 inch) cutting diameter and a 140-degree split point angle. The 140-degree point reduces thrust, improves self-centering, and minimizes walking on entry. Coolant-through construction supports chip evacuation and extended tool life in deep or high-speed drilling cycles.
