The KENNAMETAL 4067319 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill built for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. The 1-inch diameter, 4-flute design features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating for heat resistance and extended tool life. At 5 inches overall length with a 2.25-inch length of cut, this single-end mill is engineered for operations where edge quality and chip evacuation are equally critical. The HPHV series geometry uses a variable index flute pattern and medium helix to reduce chatter and improve surface finish across a broad range of cutting conditions. Material grade KCPM15 provides the toughness and wear resistance needed in production environments.
This end mill is designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials in CNC machining centers. Capable operations include shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill mill, plunging, and recessing. The 45-degree chamfer geometry at 0.0200 inches chamfer width allows the tool to perform both primary milling and edge-breaking chamfering in a single setup, reducing tool changes and cycle time. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive retention in standard end mill holders. This tool is suited for job shops and production facilities running high-mix or tight-tolerance programs on steel and difficult alloys.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. Suitable for shouldering, slotting, ramp-down, helical interpolation, drill mill, plunging, and recessing operations. Compatible with standard 1-inch end mill holders and Weldon flat drive tooling systems. Manufacturers catalog number HPHV1000S4225CH.
Installation and tool changes should be performed only when the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state per the machine tool manufacturer's lockout procedure. Secure the Weldon flat shank in a properly sized end mill holder or set-screw holder, torquing the set screw against the flat per the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning a production run. Tool path parameters should be programmed per the cutting data recommendations for the specific workpiece material and machine rigidity.
