The KENNAMETAL 4058551 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI/ISO designation LNEU1240R03SGP 4 in manufacturer grade KC725M. This single-sided, right-hand insert features a rectangular shape with a 90-degree included angle, a positive 30-degree rake angle, and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. It measures 0.5000 inches in length, 0.3750 inches wide, and 0.1575 inches thick, with a 0.0118-inch corner radius. The TiAlN coating is applied via PVD process, delivering elevated heat resistance and wear performance. Four cutting edges are available per insert, making it an efficient choice for production milling operations. The insert is held in the cutter body by a screw-clamp method and is compatible with the LN cutter series.
This insert is engineered for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces, corresponding to ISO material groups P, M, and S.
