The KENNAMETAL 4057865 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ISO designation HNGJ1307ANENGD and grade KCPK30. It features a hexagon insert shape with 12 cutting edges, a double-sided design, and a positive rake angle of 15 degrees. The insert is CVD-coated with a multilayer TiN, TiCN, and Al2O3 stack, delivering wear resistance across a wide range of workpiece materials. At 0.2919 inches thick with a 0.875 inch inscribed circle and a corner radius of 0.0469 inches, this insert is suited for productive face and shoulder milling in demanding production environments. Installation is performed by licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians.
This insert is designed for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It is rated for material grades C1, C5, and C6 under ANSI classification and covers ISO material codes P, M, K, and S. The GD chip breaker geometry and honed cutting edge style make it well matched to both roughing and semi-finishing passes. Compatible with the Kennametal Dodeka cutter series, this insert supports maximum depths of cut up to 0.5052 inches in standard milling setups. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of five pieces.
Designed for use in the Kennametal Dodeka cutter series. ANSI code HNGJ75ANENGD; ISO code HNGJ1307ANENGD. Fits cutter bodies accepting the HNGJ insert series with a 0.315 inch hole diameter and an inscribed circle in the 0.700 to 1.000 inch range.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key specified by the cutter body manufacturer to seat the clamping screw; do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide insert. Inspect the pocket seating surface and wiper pads for wear or debris before installing a new insert.
