The KENNAMETAL 4047740 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. Built to the HPHV series specification, it features a 5/16 inch diameter with a 0.015 inch corner radius that extends tool life and reduces edge chipping during aggressive cuts. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry combined with a high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness, making this tool well suited for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other hard materials. Installation Notes
