The KENNAMETAL 4034925 is a solid carbide milling insert in the WOEJ series, designed for high-performance face and shoulder milling operations. It carries the ANSI/ISO designation WOEJ090512SRGD, features a trigon (60-degree included angle) shape, and is ground with a chamfered and honed cutting edge for consistent chip formation. The KC725M grade uses a PVD-applied TiAlN coating that extends tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. With six cutting edges on a double-sided insert, it delivers a low cost-per-edge value suited to production milling environments. A positive rake geometry reduces cutting forces and heat generation at the insert edge.
This insert is intended for use in milling applications on CNC machining centers and milling machines where the primary workpiece materials are steel (ISO P), stainless steel (ISO M), superalloys, and titanium (ISO S). It is compatible with the Kennametal KenFeed cutter series and is held in the cutter body by a screw-clamp method. Typical users include machinists and tooling specialists in aerospace, oil and gas, power generation, and general metalworking industries requiring reliable performance on difficult-to-machine alloys.
Designed for use with the Kennametal KenFeed cutter series. Insert designation WOEJ090512SRGD conforms to ANSI and ISO standards; verify pocket geometry and seating requirements against the specific cutter body specification before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key as specified by the cutter body manufacturer to secure the clamping screw — do not over-torque. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installing a new insert, and confirm correct insert orientation matches the right-hand cutting direction.
