The KENNAMETAL 3870469 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built with three flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and a clean square shoulder profile. The 0.375-inch shank diameter and single-end configuration make it a standard fit for CNC machining centers and manual mills alike. Manufactured to the K600 material grade specification, this end mill is supplied in a bright, uncoated finish — suitable for applications where coating-induced dimensional buildup is a concern or where the base carbide substrate performs best without an additional layer.
This end mill is suited for general-purpose milling, slotting, and profiling tasks in machine shops, production environments, and toolrooms. The center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry into a workpiece, giving machinists flexibility for both plunge and ramping operations.
