The KENNAMETAL 3755918 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built from K600-grade carbide and left in a bright, uncoated finish, this tool features a 0.625-inch cutting diameter, a 0.75-inch length of cut, and a 45-degree helix angle. The three-flute, spiral-flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation while the variable index design reduces harmonic vibration during cutting. With a 6-inch overall length and an extended reach of 3.375 inches, this end mill is suited for deep-pocket and long-reach milling operations where a standard-length tool falls short. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers rely on this series for reliable performance on non-ferrous and harder work materials.
This end mill is designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where a long-reach, single-end square profile is required. The right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration makes it compatible with conventional spindle setups. Its extended neck length of 3.375 inches allows access to deep pockets, slots, and profiling operations that shorter tools cannot reach. The ABDE series is commonly applied in aerospace, die-and-mold, and general precision machining environments where tight tolerances and clean floor finishes are required.
Designed as a long-reach, single-end square end mill in the KENNAMETAL ABDE series. Compatible with standard 0.625-inch collets, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut to confirm proper seating and avoid premature tool wear.
