The KENNAMETAL 3755883 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 0.5-inch mill diameter, a 0.06-inch corner radius, and 2 right-hand spiral flutes with a high-helix, coarse-pitch geometry that promotes aggressive chip evacuation and a smooth surface finish. The 6-inch overall length with a 3.375-inch extended reach makes it well suited for deep-pocket and extended-reach milling operations. It is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry, and runs uncoated for applications where coating buildup or chemical interaction with workpiece material is a concern. Licensed machinists and CNC mill operators working in job shop and production environments are the primary installers.
This end mill is intended for milling non-ferrous metals including aluminum alloys, copper, brass, and similar materials where carbide geometry optimized for the N material group delivers consistent results. The ABDF series designation places it in Kennametal's short-flute, extended-reach family. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard end mill toolholders with a 0.5-inch bore. The 0.625-inch length of cut is paired with a 3.375-inch reach, giving access to features that shorter-reach tools cannot reach without fixture modifications.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before inserting the shank. Torque the toolholder setscrew or collet nut according to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning a production run, as excessive runout will accelerate edge wear on carbide tooling.
