The KENNAMETAL 3753254 is a solid carbide turning insert with ANSI code DNMG432MN and grade designation KCP10. It features a multilayer CVD coating - TiCN plus Al2O3 applied via MTCVD process - engineered for high wear resistance in steel and cast iron applications. The insert has a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a negative rake angle, and a negative side clearance. It measures 15.5 mm (0.609 inches) in length with a 0.5-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius. The MN chip breaker geometry is optimized for roughing and medium machining operations. This insert is part of the KENLOC series and is held by clamp or pin methods. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in production turning applications.

This insert is suited for turning, facing, boring, back turning, and back boring operations on steel and cast iron workpieces. The KCP10 grade delivers high wear resistance on steel (P-grade materials) and moderate wear resistance with toughness on aluminum and non-ferrous materials (N-grade). Installation Notes
