The KENNAMETAL 3751575 is a CCMT2152LF screw-on turning insert in grade KCP25, manufactured from solid carbide with a multilayer MTCVD TiCN and Al2O3 coating. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert geometry delivers a positive rake angle of 5 degrees and a 7-degree relief angle, providing a balance of wear resistance and toughness suited to finishing and light machining operations. The LF chip breaker is optimized for low cutting forces and consistent chip control at light depths of cut. With a 0.25-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius, this insert is a standard CCMT060208 profile compatible with ANSI and ISO toolholding systems. Machinists and CNC operators working in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials install this insert in production turning, facing, and boring applications.
The 3751575 is intended for finishing and light machining passes on steel and cast iron as its primary workpiece materials, with additional suitability for aluminum and non-ferrous alloys. The KCP25 grade is characterized by moderate wear resistance and toughness in the P and N material categories. The neutral hand orientation and positive side clearance make it adaptable across a range of screw-on toolholders. Maximum recommended depth of cut is 1.25 mm (0.0492 inches), keeping this insert in its designed finishing envelope. It carries two usable cutting edges per insert.

This insert is installed and replaced by machinists or CNC tooling technicians using the appropriate torx or hex key per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Power down and lock out the machine before changing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or damage before seating a new insert. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut for the LF chip breaker designation, as overloading a finishing insert can cause premature edge failure.
