The KENNAMETAL 3690724 is a solid carbide replaceable tip drill insert in the KSEM Plus series, designed for use with compatible KSEM modular drill bodies. Manufactured to ISO designation KSEMP3100HPGM, this tip features a 31mm cutting diameter and a 140-degree drill point angle with an HPG insert geometry. The TiAlN coating is applied via PVD process, delivering thermal resistance and wear protection during high-production drilling cycles. The fine-grain carbide substrate in KC7315 grade supports demanding cutting applications where edge retention and surface quality are critical. Installation uses a clamp-style insert holding method.

This replaceable tip is suited for drilling operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, N, and S.
