The KENNAMETAL 2624187 is a 2-flute indexable square-shoulder end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal-cutting applications. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a maximum depth of cut of 0.58 inches, and a 3/4 inch cylindrical shank with an overall length of 6.5 inches. The tool uses EC14.. and EP14.. insert styles secured by screw clamping, and supports through-coolant delivery to manage heat and chip evacuation during aggressive cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials will find this toolholder well-suited for high-speed square-shoulder milling at up to 49,600 RPM.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers where square-shoulder profiling, slotting, and step milling are required. With a 0-degree lead angle and a head length of 1.75 inches, it produces true 90-degree walls without secondary finishing passes. The through-coolant feature makes it a practical choice for deep-reach operations and materials that generate significant heat during cutting.
