The KENNAMETAL 2383590 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ISO designation SPCT10T320ENLD2 and manufacturer grade KC725M. It features a square insert shape with a 90-degree included angle and a neutral hand orientation. The insert measures 0.5 inches inscribed circle diameter and 0.1563 inches thick, with a corner radius of 0.0787 inches (2.00 mm). A PVD-applied TiN/TiCN/TiN multilayer coating delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across demanding milling applications. The LD2 chip breaker geometry controls chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Installation Notes

Insert installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine fully powered down and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to seat and torque the clamping screw according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the insert pocket for debris or damage before seating a new insert. Never force an insert into a pocket or mix insert sizes within the same toolholder body.
