The KENNAMETAL 2036904 is a carbide replaceable tip drill in the KSEM series, designed for high-performance hole-making in steel and similar ferrous workpiece materials. The drill tip is manufactured from solid carbide fine-grain substrate in the KC7315 manufacturer grade and features a TiAlN coating applied via a PVD process. The HP insert geometry and 140-degree drill point angle support efficient chip formation and entry stability. With a cutting diameter of 24 millimeters and a flute length of 12 millimeters, this replaceable tip style reduces tooling cost per hole by allowing the carbide insert to be swapped without discarding the drill body. Two helical flutes with a 2-margin design are standard on this configuration.

This drill is suited for production drilling operations in steel workpieces, including inclined-exit conditions and stacked-plate applications where entry and exit geometry can vary.
