The KENNAMETAL 1867620 is a solid carbide turning insert with a TiAlN PVD coating, designed for high-wear and moderate-toughness applications in CNC turning, facing, and boring operations. It carries the ANSI insert code CNGP432 and ISO code CNGP120408, placing it in the KENLOC series. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape provides a strong cutting geometry with a neutral hand orientation and negative rake angle. The KC5010 grade is engineered for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys and titanium, delivering high wear resistance across those material groups. With four cutting edges per insert, this grade extends tool life on demanding production runs.

This insert is suited for medium machining operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and superalloys and titanium in both production turning and general-purpose shop environments.
