Maximum depth of cut is 0.3937 inches, and the holder is rated for workpieces up to 0.79 inches in diameter. At 0.22 pounds, it is a compact, rigid unit suited to small-diameter parting work on production or toolroom lathes.
This toolholder is intended for use in machine shops performing cutoff and grooving operations on small-diameter bar stock and turned components. The A3SC right-hand configuration positions the cutting edge for standard front-facing cutoff on engine lathes, CNC turning centers, and turret lathes.
