The KENNAMETAL 1795791 is a carbide threading insert in the Top Notch series, designed for precision thread-cutting on both internal and external applications. Manufactured to the NTF insert style with a KC5025 grade substrate, it features a PVD-applied TiAlN finish that supports extended tool life in demanding threading operations. The insert covers a partial profile 60-degree thread standard and handles external pitches from 0.60 to 1.75 mm (14 to 44 TPI) and internal pitches from 1.00 to 2.00 mm (12 to 24 TPI). It is a right-hand insert with a corner radius of 0.08 mm and a tip-to-top dimension of 2.79 mm. Machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments install this insert into compatible Top Notch toolholders.
This insert is suited for threading operations on a range of materials classified under material grades C2 and C6, covering a broad spectrum from cast irons to non-ferrous alloys.
