The KENNAMETAL 1786062 is a straight-cylindrical shank replaceable-tip drill body in the KSEM series, designed for precision hole-making in metal cutting applications. The body accepts KSEM0563 inserts at insert seat size B, allowing the cutting tip to be swapped without replacing the full tool. The drill accommodates diameters from 14.3 to 14.5 mm (0.563 to 0.571 inches) and reaches a maximum drill depth of 71.37 mm (2.81 inches), giving a depth-to-diameter ratio of 5xD. Through-coolant delivery via a 3.50 mm (0.138 inch) coolant hole supports chip evacuation and extended insert life at higher feed rates. This tool is installed and operated by machinist or toolroom personnel in CNC drilling applications.
