Manufactured to the LT16NL insert style and coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, this insert carries the KC5025 grade designation, which is engineered for tough threading applications requiring wear resistance and edge stability. The insert covers a pitch range of 0.50 to 3.00 mm (48 to 8 TPI) and conforms to a partial profile 60-degree thread standard. With a 3/8 inch (9.53 mm) inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.1430 inch (3.44 mm), it seats securely in compatible LT16NL toolholders used in CNC turning and threading operations.
This insert is suited for internal threading on CNC lathes in metalworking environments, including both job shop and production floor settings. The left-hand orientation makes it appropriate for reverse-thread applications or left-hand spindle configurations.
