The KENNAMETAL 1519263 is a replaceable-tip drill body engineered for precision hole-making in metalworking applications. Built on the KSEM platform, it accepts KSEM0750 insert tips and uses an Insert Seat Size 2 interface. The drill covers a diameter range of 19.05 to 19.55 mm (0.7500 to 0.7697 inches) and delivers a maximum drill depth of 140 mm (5.51 inches), representing a 7xD depth-to-diameter ratio. Overall length is 225.43 mm (8.875 inches). The straight-cylindrical shank measures 19.05 mm (0.750 inches) in diameter and 50.80 mm (2.00 inches) in length. Through-coolant capability is built in, supporting high-speed metal removal while managing heat and chip evacuation at the cutting zone. This body is designed for use in CNC machining centers and turning centers by machinists and tooling specialists.
The 1519263 drill body is suited for production drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals where consistent hole diameter and depth are required. The 7xD depth ratio makes it appropriate for deeper bores that exceed standard indexable drill capacity. The KSEM replaceable-tip system allows tip changes without removing the body from the spindle, reducing downtime in high-volume production environments. Applications include structural component machining, die and mold work, and general precision metalworking in job shop or production floor settings.
Designed for use with KSEM0750 series replaceable insert tips, Insert Seat Size 2, within the KENNAMETAL KSEM drill body system. The straight-cylindrical shank interfaces with standard ER collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, and shrink-fit holders sized for 19.05 mm shanks.
Installation and tip changes should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's spindle lockout procedure before handling the drill body. Ensure the insert seat and tip are clean and free of chips before seating a new KSEM0750 tip. Through-coolant connections should be confirmed and flow verified before resuming cutting operations. Consult the machine tool and toolholder manufacturer specifications to confirm runout tolerances and clamping torque requirements for the shank diameter.
