The KENNAMETAL 1198630 is a solid carbide straight-flute die drill bit engineered for precision hole-making in cast iron and non-ferrous metals. Part of the B411 series, this drill features a 130-degree split point with web thinning to reduce thrust and improve centering accuracy at entry. The 0.3543-inch (9.00 mm) cutting diameter is matched to a 10.00 mm shank and delivers a maximum drilling depth of 1.93 inches (49.00 mm). Internal coolant-through capability via round coolant holes keeps the cutting edge cool during extended production cycles. The bright finish reduces friction and is suited to the workpiece materials this tool targets.
This drill bit is designed for use in production machining environments where consistent hole quality in cast iron and non-ferrous metals is required.
