The KENNAMETAL 1184136 is a solid carbide milling insert in the LFEW series, designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding milling operations. It carries the ISO designation LFEW220432ERLN and is manufactured to the KC725M grade with a multilayer PVD coating of TiN, TiCN, and TiN applied in that sequence. The insert measures 0.6252 inches wide and 0.1875 inches thick, with a corner radius of 0.1260 inches and an inscribed circle of 0.3750 inches. The rectangular shape, 25-degree relief angle, and LN chip breaker geometry make it well suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where edge stability and surface quality are priorities. Installation is by screw-holding method, right-hand orientation.
This insert is intended for machining steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium, corresponding to ISO material codes P, M, and S. It fits milling toolholders designed for the LFEW insert series with a size code of 3538.
