The KENNAMETAL 1163218 is a solid carbide profiling and turning insert in the Top Notch series, designed for precision material removal on CNC lathes and turning centers. Installation Notes

Index or replace this insert with the machine fully stopped and the spindle locked out per your facility lockout/tagout procedure. Verify insert seating and orientation before resuming the cut. Handling carbide inserts with bare hands can introduce contaminants to seating surfaces; use clean gloves or a soft cloth.
