Designated style E10NEL2 KWH, this left-hand holder accepts N-style inserts secured by a clamp-style holding method. It features a minimum bore diameter of 1 inch and an overall length of 10 inches, making it suitable for moderate-depth boring applications where rigidity and precision are critical. A built-in coolant-through channel with a 0.2200-inch diameter coolant hole delivers cutting fluid directly to the insert tip, improving chip evacuation and tool life in demanding materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments are the primary installers of this toolholder.
This boring bar is built for use in horizontal and vertical turning centers requiring left-hand internal boring capability. The 5/8-inch shank diameter fits standard boring bar holders and quick-change tooling systems common in production turning setups. The Top Notch series designation indicates compatibility with that insert platform. The center-to-cutting-edge dimension of 0.5000 inches supports consistent bore sizing when dialing in offsets. Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling setup technician. Power down the machine and engage the spindle lock before mounting or removing the boring bar from the turret.
