The KENNAMETAL 1136247 is a clamp stud designed for use in Fix-Perfect series indexable turning and milling toolholders. This hardened stud secures the clamp that locks cutting inserts in place during face milling and shell milling operations. It is a small but critical piece of toolholder hardware - a worn, damaged, or missing clamp stud compromises insert seating and can lead to chatter, poor surface finish, or insert failure. Machinists and toolroom technicians working with KENNAMETAL Fix-Perfect system toolholders use this stud as a direct OEM-style replacement to restore clamping function and maintain cutting performance.
This clamp stud is applicable to Fix-Perfect series toolholders configured for face mill and shell mill operations. Toolholder style compatibility includes R311 and R313 holders. The stud is designed to work with the clamp hardware used in those systems and is compatible with complete insert designations beginning with 4.21503R6. It is sold individually per package, with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it well suited for stocking as a maintenance consumable in production machining environments where multiple Fix-Perfect holders are in service.
Compatible with KENNAMETAL Fix-Perfect series toolholders in styles R311 and R313, used in face mill and shell mill applications. Designed for use with clamp hardware and complete inserts in the 4.21503R6 designation family.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician during toolholder maintenance or insert changeover. Power down and lock out any machine spindle before servicing toolholder hardware. Use the appropriate KENNAMETAL torque specifications and drive tools for the Fix-Perfect system when seating clamp studs - do not substitute hardware from other toolholder systems. Inspect the clamp and insert pocket for wear or damage before installing a replacement stud.
