The KENNAMETAL 1113779 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for precision external grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the NF3125K style in the Top Notch series, this insert features a KC850 grade substrate with a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiC, TiCN, and TiN. The cutting width is 0.1252 inches (3.18 mm) and the maximum depth of cut reaches 0.1500 inches (3.81 mm). Left-hand orientation and a positive rake angle of 10 degrees support clean chip evacuation during grooving. Installation Notes
