The KENNAMETAL 1096049 is a left-hand MSSN-style negative rake indexable turning toolholder designed for external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Built on the Kenloc series platform, it features a 45-degree lead angle and accepts SN..64. style inserts with a 3/4-inch inscribed circle. The toolholder uses a clamp and screw insert-holding method to secure the insert firmly during high-material-removal passes. The steel shank measures 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches tall with an overall length of 6 inches.
