The KENNAMETAL 1023583 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill built around the KICR cutter style and designed for precise 90-degree shoulder milling operations. It accepts two SDEB 2615 screw-clamped inserts, producing clean, true square shoulders in steel, cast iron, and similar workpiece materials. The cutter carries a 3/4-inch cutting diameter and a maximum depth of cut of 0.28 inches (7.11 mm), making it well suited for light-to-moderate shoulder and face milling passes. With a maximum spindle speed rating of 10,500 RPM and a 3-1/4-inch overall length, it fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with the appropriate toolholder.

This end mill is intended for machine shops, toolrooms, and production environments where accurate square-shoulder profiles are required. The cylindrical shank measures 3/4 inch in diameter and 2.03 inches in length, allowing direct chucking in ER collet chucks, milling chucks, or Weldon-flat holders. It is a two-flute design, keeping chip evacuation manageable in slotting and shoulder applications. Lead angle is 0 degrees, confirming true radial wall engagement.
