The JET EQUIPMENT JT9-350125-2 is a mill drill machine designed for shops where floor space and budget are limited but light-to-medium machining work is still required. It combines a belt-driven drill press head with a dual-coordinate milling table, giving the operator the ability to make precise X and Y movements across the workpiece. The unit ships with a Newall DP700 digital readout (DRO) for fast, accurate positioning without manual measurement. Rated at 1 HP and wired for 115/230 volt, single-phase power, it fits most standard shop electrical setups. A locking collet holds the cutting tool securely against the spindle when lateral cutting forces are applied.
This machine is suited for job shops, maintenance departments, vocational programs, and small production environments that need occasional milling and drilling capability without investing in a full-size vertical milling machine. Typical applications include slotting, facing, drilling, and boring on ferrous and non-ferrous stock. The adjustable head and swivel column design allow the operator to work at various angles. The optional mill drill stand (P/N 320020) is available separately for floor-mounted installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and accessory-compatible unit within the JMD mill drill machine product line. The optional mill drill stand (P/N 320020) is sold separately and fits this machine as shown in manufacturer reference images.
Installation and electrical hookup should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. Verify the supply voltage matches the machine configuration before powering on - this unit supports 115 volt or 230 volt single-phase wiring. Secure the machine to a stable bench or the optional floor stand before operation. Disconnect and lock out power before changing tooling, adjusting the head, or servicing any mechanical component.
